| Music for a Summer's Evening - Saturday 27th June |
|
Music for a Summer's Evening is an informal al fresco music event on Grove Field. It is enjoyed annually by the Leighton Park community to celebrate the musical talents of our wonderful students and relax with friends over food. Even if you are not able to stay for the entire time, please do come along for as much of the event as your other commitments allow. You are welcome to bring a picnic, comfortable picnic chairs or rugs and warm layers if it is forecast to be chilly. There will also be the option to purchase food and drinks if you would prefer. No RSVP required. |
| Boarders Arrival - Wedneday 2nd September, from 4.00pm |

New boarders are welcome to arrive at Leighton Park from 4.00pm. We are unable to accommodate early arrivals due to staff availability. Students should go directly to either Reckitt House (Senior Girls’ Boarding House) or School House (Senior Boys’ Boarding House) where they will be welcomed by the House Team and shown to their rooms. | Newcomers' Day - Thursday 3rd September, 9.15am - 2.30pm |

The first day for new students will be Newcomers’ Day on Thursday 3rd September. Students should arrive at 9.15am at Michael Malnick Centre and come dressed in Collect Dress. During Newcomers’ Day, students will meet their tutors, be issued with their IT log ins, be given an induction to our online resources, explore the Park with our Sixth Form prefects and enjoy some fun activities with new friends across students and staff. Parents and guardians can collect Day students from Grove Car Park at 2.30pm Please note that on Newcomers’ Day there will be no breakfast or tea for day students and that the school transport services will not be available. |
| Welcome Evening - Friday 4th September, 6.00pm |

Parents and guardians are invited to join their children in the Michael Malnick Centre for a welcome talk from Helen Taylor, Director of Sixth Form. After this there will be the opportunity to chat to staff and other families over refreshments. No RSVP is required – we look forward to welcoming you to Leighton Park. |
| Isle of Wight Adventure Weekend - Friday 11th - Sunday 13th September - FULLY BOOKED |

The Isle of Wight Adventure weekend is a great bonding experience for our new Sixth Formers to celebrate the end of their first full week at Leighton Park and to continue building the friendships that will be with them throughout their Sixth Form years and beyond. Students will stay at the PGL Centre, Little Canada, on the Isle of Wight where activities available include sailing, tree-top high ropes, aeroball, giant swing, kayaking and more. Coaches will leave at 12.15pm on Friday 11th September and return by 4.00pm on Sunday 13th September. This trip is now fully booked. |
