Football at Leighton Park
We’re a top school for football, partnering with Brentford FC CST and with multiple teams across year groups. Our U13 and U15 girls’ teams were undefeated last season. Our Head of Football used to coach Chelsea FC and Southampton FC.
Leighton Park's exciting new football partnership with Brentford FC CST will create incredible new opportunities for our students. The partnership includes bespoke training sessions for Leighton Park’s boys’ and girls’ teams through the co-curricular programme with top Brentford coaching staff, as well as offering development squad training in the evenings, as part of a high-level performance programme. Brentford FC CST provides expert input into the sport curriculum and training for Leighton Park’s sports staff. Students also enjoy visits to the Brentford ground to meet professionals and attend Brentford matches.
We have two top-level UEFA B Football Coaches in our Sports department and host the Berkshire Football Competition. Our Footballers go on a Football Camp each year, most recently training at Real Madrid in Spain.
